  1. Handling Missing Values: Identifying missing values in the dataset and deciding how to handle them, which may involve imputation techniques or removing records or attributes with missing values.
  2. Removing Duplicates: Identifying and removing duplicate records or observations that can skew analysis results.
  3. Correcting Inconsistent Data: Identifying and resolving inconsistencies in the data, such as inconsistent spellings, formatting, or inconsistent coding schemes.
